Qualifications Required
Requires current Nebraska nursing license. With experience with one year (or cumulative equivalent) in a long term care facility or provision of long term care type skills in a hospital setting. Formal training or experience in instruction of adults is desirable with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
General Summary
The Nurse Aide/Medication Aide (NA/MA) Trainer is responsible for delivering approved curriculum to students enrolled in the Nurse Aide and Medication Aide courses. Individual will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures. The hours will vary with day and night classes. This will be located in Grand Island.
