Job description

Avanti F&B Vail is seeking an experienced, dependable bartender to support private events, large group reservations, and special programming on an on-call or part-time basis.


This position is responsible for setting up and breaking down event bars, preparing and serving cocktails, beer, and wine, processing guest payments, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing friendly, efficient service throughout events and shifts.


The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and can be trusted to work independently or as part of a team. Previous bartending experience and knowledge of responsible alcohol service are required. Availability will vary based on the event schedule, with most shifts occurring during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation:

$12.14 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations
  • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties
  • Mix and deliver drinks to customers including alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks

Qualifications:
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service
  • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
