Position Summary

The Exhibitor Concierge is the front-line ambassador for our exhibitors, delivering a premium, personalized service from the moment they arrive on site. This role is highly visible on the show floor, acting as the first point of contact for exhibitor needs, problem solving, and ensuring smooth event operations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, strong venue and event knowledge, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

The positions available are casual-part-time positions that will require the successful candidates to work flexible hours throughout the week.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Exhibitor Welcome & Check-In

  • Greet exhibitors upon arrival and facilitate check-in with a warm, professional approach.
  • Create a personalized first impression, ensuring exhibitors feel valued and supported.

Primary Point of Contact

  • Act as the main liaison for exhibitors during the event, ensuring all inquiries and needs are addressed promptly.
  • Maintain a constant, visible presence on the floor for immediate assistance.

Problem Solving & Knowledge Resource

  • Provide informed guidance on venue capabilities, show procedures, and operational possibilities.
  • Know who to contact and coordinate with the right teams to make solutions happen.

Safety & Compliance

  • Monitor the venue to ensure safety standards are upheld.
  • Enforce event and venue regulations in a professional and diplomatic manner.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to keep event operations running smoothly.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.

Concierge Desk Operations

  • Manage the Exhibitor Concierge desk, processing payments and upselling on-site services.
  • Maintain accurate transaction and service records.

Technical & Booth Support

  • Troubleshoot booth setup and service-related challenges.
  • Coordinate logistics such as car marshalling and move-in/move-out assistance.

White Glove Service Delivery

  • Anticipate exhibitor needs and provide proactive support.
  • Go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service at every touchpoint.

Team Collaboration

  • Share information and updates with the wider Exhibitor Concierge team.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and solution-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be proactive, optimistic and have worked in a dynamic environment where they have experience delivering on multiple priorities and will hold the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, event operations, or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of event procedures and venue operations is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable handling payments and providing sales-based recommendations.
