ABOUT THE POSITION

Hunter Canmore is looking for a Dishwasher to fill out their team on a full-time or part-time permanent basis. It is essential that you enjoy a fast-paced work environment and feel comfortable working both alone, and/or within a team.

Hunter is a French-inspired steakhouse. Shaped by live-fire cooking, classic technique, and confident hospitality. Now hiring FOH & BOH Management. Weโ€™re looking for leaders who set the tone quietly, uphold standards consistently, and understand that the room takes its cue from them. Hunter is the newest restaurant from Concorde Group, a hospitality company with venues in Calgary, Toronto, and Canmore.

WHAT WE OFFER

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Ensure a clean and sanitary stock of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots/pans, and cooking equipment is consistently available for kitchen and food service.
    • Sort, stack, and load dirty dishware into dish racks in an organized manner to maximize machine capacity and reduce breakage.
    • Operate dishwashing equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
    • Unload dishware, distributing and storing in designated storage areas.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with all departments affecting the kitchen.
    • Aid kitchen staff in food prep.
    • Ensure the highest level of hygiene and food safety is adhered to according to the restaurantโ€™s standards.
    • Ensure that the dishwashing area and equipment is always maintained at the highest level of cleanliness.
    • Consistently conduct yourself in a professional and positive manner.
    • Aid in maintaining department objectives and ensure they are met and exceeded.
    • Perform other related ad-hoc duties as required.

WHAT YOU HAVE

    • No previous experience required.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills required.
    • Strong English communication skills with ability to establish and develop relationships with team members, partners, and customers.
    • WHMIS Certification is required but can be obtained once hired.
    • Food Safe Certification is required but can be obtained within 30 days of being hired.
    • Ability to maintain professionalism, control, and composure in difficult and stressful situations.
    • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
