Job description

Our company is currently seeking ​a part-time, in-office Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to join our team! This is a direct reporting position to the President/CEO. You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial transactions and records in addition to performing general office duties for 20-30 hours per week. ​​​​​​The approximate time breakdown looks like this:

  • Bookkeeping/Accounting - 80%
  • General Office - 20%

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
  • Banking and general ledger; foreign exchange (FX) transactions
  • Customer invoicing and collections; checking the accuracy of business transactions
  • Performing data entry and administrative duties as required
  • Inventory review and depreciation
  • Working with third-party accountants and auditors

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Experience working with an ERP system; Sage 300 would be ideal
  • Fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP)
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Proficient in using online business banking platforms (bill pay, ACH/wire transfers)
  • Experience with Quicken software a plus
