Your Role

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager

Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown is currently recruiting for a Guest Service Agent - Part - Time! In this role, you will:

  • Provide a consistently warm, friendly, and professional experience for all guests and team members.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, following hotel credit and cash handling policies.
  • Create, modify, and cancel reservations accurately as required.
  • Greet and manage all incoming and outgoing phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with all hotel departments to support smooth operations.
  • Maintain front desk operations, including telephones, daily sell rates, and logbooks.
  • Review daily emails and logs and complete assigned checklists and tasks each shift.
  • Balance and prepare shift paperwork in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Assist guests with inquiries related to hotel services, local attractions, directions, and in-house events.

What You Bring to the Table

  • High school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent;
  • At least 1 year of guest service and/or housekeeping experience;
  • Flexible working hours; may require working up to 32 hours per week.
  • Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors.
  • Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards;
  • Ability to follow instruction.
