Guest Services Associate - Part time, evenings and weekendsThe Adrian Dominican Sisters are looking for a Part Time Guest Services Associate and Receptionist for the Front Desk at our Weber Retreat and Conference Center located on the grounds of the Motherhouse campus in Adrian, MI. This position supports the front desk and provides receptionist guest services at our retreat and conference center. You will be responsible for: Maintaining an atmosphere of hospitality, communicating messages and performing clerical duties at Weber Center Front Desk in a professional and efficient manner. Pay: starts at 17.20/hr. Hours: 14 hours every 2 week pay period. Close building according to set procedures.Prepare end of shift reconciliations of all monies received.Prepare and/or set out/take down socials, food and beverage replenishment.Set up and instruct in the use of audio visual equipment in conference rooms as needed.Perform clerical tasks, i.e. copying, typing, entering registrations, maintaining key inventory. Assist with labels and mailing procedures.Be familiar with Adrian Dominican Campus in order to give accurate directions to guests.Requirements:Education: High school diplomaExperience: Experience working with public preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Above average oral/written/typing communication skills. Computer skills necessary. Ability to interact with a variety of personalities while remaining flexible and hospitable.Physical: Must be able to sit, stand, and walk up to 10 hours per day. Must be able to frequently stoop, bend, reach, and carry approximately 35 pounds. Must be sighted and capable of hearing.
