We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Hosts to join our team and represent The Armory's Premium Experience program, which focuses on delivering an unmatched concert experience to our highest contributing clients in an upscale and high-touch environment. Working within a concert venue provides a fun atmosphere with amazing guests, in a fast-paced environment. Hosts' responsibilities include being the first point of contact for our suite holders and guests; welcoming, checking-in and organizing groups, managing reservations via a handheld iPad app and escorting guests to their private suites. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. Ability to learn quickly and communicate with a team in a large venue will contribute to your success.
Responsibilities:
Represent and uphold a high level of standards
Welcoming guests to the venue, being the most hospitably first point of contact
Managing reservations and assisting guests with their reservations
Escort customers to assigned suites
Introducing client to Server and communicating special requests or needs
Utilizing an iPad based reservations app
Upgrade and sell suites as new reservations
Maintain a clean reception area
Answer incoming calls and address guests' queries
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Requirements:
Requirements (preferred but not required):
Previous work experience as a Host or Server
Professional appearance and attire required
Understanding of restaurant/venue etiquette
Experience in managing reservations, iPad based app experienced preferred
Demonstrable customer-service skills
Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor your surroundings
Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
