Job description

Voyago is seeking responsible and compassionate individuals to join our team of Shuttle Operators for our hospital shuttle service in Hamilton.

Your Role

We are seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Shuttle Operator to provide smooth shuttle operations from park‑outs to the hospital, ensuring safe, timely transportation for hospital staff. This position is Part-Time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete 2pm-6pm scheduled shuttle trips during the Afternoon shift
  • Provide safe, courteous transportation for passengers
  • Maintain excellent customer service and communication
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
  • Follow all hospital, transit, and safety protocols
  • Report incidents, delays, or concerns promptly

Location: McMaster Hospital, Hamilton, ON

Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-6:00pm, 14-18 shuttle trips

Rate: $20.50 per hour

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario Class F,  B or C licence with clean abstract
  • Clean driving record and Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Has a sound knowledge of the region of the assigned route and surrounding areas
  • Vaccinations: DPT, Hepatitis B, MMR, Polio, TB Skin Test Step 1, Varicella, Covid-19 (minimum two doses)
  • Experience in transit, healthcare, or shuttle operations considered an asset
