Overnight Hospice Registered Nurse 5PM to 8AM

Per-visit pay, weeknight schedule.

LilyCare Hospice is seeking an On Call Hospice Registered Nurse 5PM to 8AM to cover our patients overnight across New Jersey.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • As our On Call Hospice Registered Nurse, respond to after-hours calls and triage patient and family needs from 5:00 PM to 8:30 AM

  • Make in-home visits as needed for symptom and pain management, comfort care, and crisis response

  • Complete hospice admissions and pronouncements as needed during on-call hours

  • Coordinate care and communicate changes with the interdisciplinary team and on-call physician

  • Document each call and visit accurately in the electronic health record per hospice requirements

Compensation and Schedule

  • $65–$150 per visit based on visit type

  • On call overnight, Monday - Thursday 5:00 PM – 8:30 AM

  • Field-based coverage across your assigned New Jersey territory

Skills and Qualifications

  • The ideal Hospice Registered Nurse holds an active New Jersey RN license in good standing (compact/multistate accepted)

  • Current AHA BLS/CPR certification

  • Hospice or home care experience preferred; comfortable working autonomously on call overnight

  • Strong end-of-life symptom management and assessment skills

  • Valid NJ driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle for home visits
