Job description


The Hospice RN will be responsible for initial, comprehensive and ongoing assessments, initiating the plan of care and making revisions as the patient's needs change, counseling patient and families in meeting nursing needs, communicating with the physician regarding patient's needs and reporting any changes in the patient's condition, obtaining and receiving physician's orders as required, and counseling field staff when the need arises.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Previous hospice, home health/OASIS experience is a plus.
  • Current licensure in California, CPR certification and valid drivers license. Current physical and TB test required. Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.

This is a per diem position. You will be placed on our roster for your specified city coverage list. As cases becomes available, we will contact you to check your availability and confirm your interest in accepting the assignments.
