What is a part time holistic practitioner?

A Part Time Holistic practitioner is a professional who uses natural and alternative therapies to support clients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, but works less than full-time hours. Their approach focuses on treating the whole person, not just specific symptoms, using methods such as nutrition counseling, massage, meditation, and herbal remedies. Working part-time allows these practitioners to maintain flexibility in their schedules while still helping clients achieve balance and wellness.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time holistic practitioner?

To thrive as a Part-Time Holistic Health Practitioner, you need a solid understanding of holistic health principles, wellness coaching, and often a relevant certification or training in modalities like massage, nutrition, or aromatherapy. Familiarity with scheduling software, client management systems, and knowledge of various holistic assessment tools are important technical skills. Excellent listening, empathy, and interpersonal communication help foster strong client relationships and trust. These abilities are crucial for delivering effective, individualized care and building a loyal client base in a competitive wellness industry.

What are some common challenges part time holistic practitioners face, and how can they overcome them?

Part-time holistic practitioners often face challenges in balancing client scheduling with other commitments, building a steady client base, and staying updated with new holistic techniques. To overcome these challenges, it's beneficial to set clear boundaries for appointment times, actively participate in local wellness communities for referrals, and dedicate time for continuing education. Collaborating with other wellness professionals can also help expand service offerings and provide mutual support in a part-time setting.

Physical Therapist - Premium Part-Time Opportunity - Strong Pay, Flexible Hours, One Clinic Location

Earn strong part-time income in one clinic location. No home-to-home travel. No full-time commitment.

Synergy Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to support our established outpatient team through evaluations, plan-of-care oversight, and PTA supervision.

This is an ideal opportunity for a PT who wants meaningful clinical work without the demands of a traditional full-time outpatient schedule. If you currently work in home health, PRN care, or another flexible setting, this role offers the ability to add consistent hours in one supportive clinic environment, without spending your day driving from visit to visit.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • Premium part-time pay structure
  • Approximately 25 hours per week
  • Predictable clinic-based schedule
  • One location, no windshield time between patients
  • Strong PTA support model
  • Focused work centered on evaluations, plan-of-care development, supervision, and clinical guidance
  • Supportive, experienced team environment
  • Opportunity to work in a holistic outpatient setting with a strong patient-centered reputation
  • Women’s health or pelvic health interest is welcomed, but not required
About Synergy

Synergy Physical Therapy & Wellness is a woman-owned, PT-led practice serving Northeast Ohio with a holistic approach to patient care. Our team helps patients move, heal, and return to the lives they want through individualized physical therapy, wellness services, and specialty care.

We are looking for a PT who values quality, collaboration, and thoughtful patient care, and who wants to make an immediate impact within a strong clinical team.

What You’ll Do
  • Complete physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized plans of care
  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision for PTA-delivered treatment
  • Collaborate with PTAs and clinic leadership to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Support a smooth, high-quality patient experience
  • Document care clearly and timely
  • Serve as a trusted clinical resource within the clinic
Ideal For A PT Who Wants
  • Supplemental income at a strong hourly or per-visit equivalent rate
  • Consistent part-time hours without committing to full-time employment
  • A clinic-based alternative to adding more home health visits
  • Less travel, more team support, and a steady patient care environment
  • A role where their PT license and clinical expertise are truly valued

What You’ll Bring
  • Active or eligible Physical Therapist license in Ohio
  • Strong clinical judgment and confidence developing plans of care
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with PTAs and clinic team members
  • Commitment to quality patient care and professional communication
  • Interest in outpatient orthopedic, wellness, or specialty care
  • Women’s health or pelvic health experience is a plus, but not required

If you are a Physical Therapist looking for a flexible, high-value part-time opportunity with a supportive outpatient team, we would love to connect.
