Immediate opening for a Handyman - Local Travel Supporting 4 QSR Locations


A regional QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) chain is looking for a skilled, dependable, and experienced Handyman to join our maintenance team. This part-time position plays a critical role in maintaining the functionality and appearance of four restaurant locations within a 30 mile area.


You'll be responsible for a range of upkeep and repair duties, everything from responding to maintenance requests to performing light repairs and ensuring the properties are safe, functional, and clean. This position reports directly to the Operations Leader.


We're seeking a hands-on problem solver with strong technical knowledge, physical stamina, and a solid work ethic.


Responsibilities:

Perform general repair and maintenance tasks, including painting, drywall patching, and basic carpentry.

Conduct light repairs on restaurant equipment, plumbing needs and appliances.

Identify and report any major repair needs.

Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from restaurant management.

Handle tile, wall, and flooring repairs as required.

Maintain exterior property areas.


Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Proficiency with basic plumbing and electrical systems.

Comfortable using hand tools and power equipment.

Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (travel between store locations required).

Must be able to pass a background check with no prior misdemeanors or felony offenses.
