This position ensures smooth patient flow by managing appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and maintaining accurate medical records while also assisting healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations. Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients upon arrival, verifying personal and insurance information accurately.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate medical personnel.
  • Assist healthcare providers by taking and recording vital signs, medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations.
  • Maintain and update patient medical records ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Coordinate patient flow to minimize wait times and optimize clinic efficiency.
  • Manage billing and insurance documentation as needed to support administrative processes.
  • Ensure the reception area is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate effective communication and patient care.
