Job description

Position Overview:
Gold's Gym Woodinville is seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Pool Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the gym's pool and related facilities. This position requires a strong attention to detail, technical knowledge of pool maintenance equipment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The Part-Time Pool Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Gym Manager.
Responsibilities:
  1. Pool Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the pool is clean, safe, and in compliance with health and safety regulations. This includes skimming debris, vacuuming the pool floor, cleaning the pool walls, maintaining water chemistry, and ensuring proper filtration and circulation.
  2. Chemical Management: Monitor and maintain appropriate chemical levels in the pool, including chlorine, pH balance, alkalinity, and other necessary chemicals. Conduct regular testing using appropriate equipment and adjust chemical levels as needed to ensure a safe and comfortable swimming environment.
  3. Equipment Inspection and Repair: Regularly inspect pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and other related systems, to identify any issues or malfunctions. Perform minor repairs or adjustments as necessary, and report major issues to the Gym Manager for further action.
