Overview
The Armed Security Travel Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of facilities, employees, customers, and assets while maintaining a professional and vigilant presence. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, adherence to applicable regulations, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents. Officers must be willing to work at least three (3) shifts, 20 hours per week to maintain compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to security alerts, incidents, and emergencies as required.
  • Conduct periodic patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and access controls.
  • Investigate disturbances and take appropriate action based on company protocol.
  • Aid employees, clients, and visitors in security matters.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on security incidents and observations.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while representing the company.

Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid PERC and FOID card REQUIRED .
  • Additional credentials such as 20HR Armed and Unarmed Training.
  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain alert and respond swiftly to security concerns.
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to patrol, stand, and respond to emergencies.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Must be available for on-call shifts and able to report to duty promptly.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Must pass a background check.
