As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Ellenwood, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support site personnel and visitors during changing conditions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify and report suspicious activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Observe and document daily activities, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, public contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Help to control access at designated entry points by monitoring visitors, checking credentials when required, and reporting unauthorized persons and/or prohibited items.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
