Job description

We are seeking Security Guard that is able to work 8pm - 6am night shifts and become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
  • Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
  • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
  • Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
  • Complete reports on any facility issues
  • Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Qualifications:

  • Possess a guard card or be able to obtain one
  • Possess an armed guard card or able to obtain one
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Proven experience as security officer or guard/ or be willing to undergo training
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Excellent surveillance and observation skills
  • Must be willing to be trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
  • High School diploma is required
