As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and collections. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and/or guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, exhibit areas, public spaces, offices, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
