GSOC Operator - (Corporate Security)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $45.00/hour
Schedule: Part-Time; 8-hour shifts; 24/7 Coverage: (AM, SW, and GV Shifts Available)
Position Overview
As a GSOC Operator, you will maintain a "Dynamic Posture", integrating technical intelligence with proactive physical security. You will synthesize real-time VMS/ACS data to mitigate rising threats, serving as the essential link between global situational awareness and tactical ground execution.
Surefox North America Inc is a veteran owned company that pride ourselves on creating a diverse and unique culture of trained and talented individuals. We are currently seeking an experienced individuals with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team.
You will be working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of the Site Supervisors and Area Managers for our top clients. In your day to day role as a GSOC Operator, you will be acting as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing emergency response. You will perform all duties in accordance with client policies and procedures, and all state & federal regulations. Other responsibilities include responding to emergency events, medical & non-medical issues, staffing deficiencies, and handling client requests in a timely manner. Under certain circumstances, an GSOC Manager will be expected to initiate preliminary investigations by writing incident reports on all internal client and company issues. We are looking for someone who has exceptional observational skills and pays close attention to detail.

What you will do
  • Utilize specialized intelligence platforms and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) to monitor geopolitical events, social unrest, and environmental hazards that may impact global assets or personnel.
  • Manage and monitor enterprise-level Video Management Systems (VMS), Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), and global alarm monitoring software to ensure real-time situational awareness.
  • Serve as the central communication hub during critical incidents, coordinating the response between local security teams, executive protection details, and emergency services using Incident Command System (ICS) protocols.
  • Execute emergency mass notification procedures to provide timely, accurate safety alerts and instructions to employees and stakeholders during crisis events.
  • Conduct real-time tracking of high-value assets and executive travelers, providing pre-trip briefings and active monitoring in high-risk environments.
  • Analyze complex data streams to produce actionable intelligence reports, daily shift logs, and executive-level briefings on the current global threat landscape.
  • Perform regular audits of security technology integrators and remote hardware to identify vulnerabilities or technical failures, ensuring 100% operational uptime.
  • Provide remote support and verbal de-escalation guidance to field personnel during high-pressure interactions or security breaches.

What is required
  • Must be eligible for employment within the United States
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
  • Must live within driving distance
  • Must have at least 5+ years of physical security experience
  • Must have a current BSIS guard card or eligible to qualify for guard card
  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • All applicants must be able to pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation, prior to the scheduled start date.

What is Desired / Optional
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Prior Military or Law Enforcement (ODO) experience is highly prioritized.
  • Technical Certifications: Formal GSOC Operator certifications or experience with advanced security integrators.
  • Specialized Permits: Current CCW or firearms permits for potential transition to armed agent status or hybrid monitoring-response roles.
  • Specialized Training: Proficiency in Incident Command System (ICS) protocols, OSINT threat monitoring, crisis de-escalation, and emergency medical response (CPR/First Aid/AED).
  • International Proficiency: Experience with overseas protection assignments and international travel logistics.

Compensation (as applies to the position):
  • Hourly Rate: $40-$50/hr
