We are hiring part-time Grocery associates at LaBonne's!What will you be doing? Stocks grocery store items on shelves or storage areas following proper procedures. Opens cartons and price items accurately and legibly; keeps store managementinformed of pricing problems or discrepancies. Keeps perishable merchandise rotated by store policy and productcode dates and pulls out of-code merchandise. Blocks all products in assigned sections. Assists in receiving and unloading of merchandise; checks and verifies grocery receiving,count, quality, and conditions. Assists in building store displays for maximum sales and turnover. Performs price checks as requested. Retrieves items that customers are unable to reach, lift, or find. Assists the Front End, performing as a cashier or service clerk, when needed. Assists with clean up of spills, breakages, and other maintenance duties as assigned. Participates in training activities to increase personal skill levels, and to improveoverall department processes and customer service. Maintains an organized and clean work area. Performs other duties as assigned by the department Supervisor or Store Director. Meets the physical requirements to perform the job functions listed above. Provide training of other associates when assigned.Competencies: Good customer service skills. Good communication and listening skills. Ability to follow directions. Attention to detail. Ability to lift (up to 50lbs.) Ability to bend, stoop and reach. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
