Job description

Remote B2B Phone Sales RepresentativeIndependent Contractor | Part-Time | 24 Hours per Week | $17.00 per Hour

We are seeking an experienced, personable B2B phone sales representative to support established natural and specialty food brands with independent grocery retailers nationwide.

This is not traditional cold calling or high-pressure telemarketing. You will be contacting retailers from a well-established list that our team has worked with for more than 15 years. Your role is to build rapport with grocery buyers, clearly present new item placement opportunities and promotional offers, and close orders or secure commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Call independent grocery retailers throughout the United States
  • Connect with store buyers, owners, and decision-makers
  • Present new product placement deals and brand promotions
  • Clearly communicate product benefits, pricing, discounts, and ordering information
  • Close new item placements and promotional orders
  • Follow up with interested retailers and maintain professional relationships
  • Accurately document calls, outcomes, orders, and next steps in HubSpot
  • Communicate daily activity and results to the sales team
  • Use Outlook for email follow-up and scheduling

Qualifications

  • Previous phone sales, inside sales, retail sales, or B2B sales experience
  • Comfortable speaking with grocery buyers and business owners
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and closing skills
  • Professional and confident phone presence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and HubSpot
  • Solid basic computer and data-entry skills
  • Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Reliable computer, internet connection, and quiet remote workspace
  • Grocery, natural products, consumer packaged goods, or food industry experience is a plus

Schedule and Compensation

  • Independent contractor position
  • Approximately 24 hours per week
  • $17.00 per hour
  • Remote position
  • Work will be completed during standard retailer business hours

What Success Looks Like

The ideal candidate does more than read from a script. You will listen to the buyer, understand the opportunity, confidently pitch the offer, overcome reasonable objections, and ask for the order. We are looking for someone who can create a genuine business connection while consistently moving conversations toward a measurable result.

To apply, please submit your résumé along with a brief description of your phone sales or B2B sales experience.
