Some states may require graduate LPNs to work under a temporary permit until they pass the NCLEX-PN exam.

To thrive as a Part Time Graduate LPN, you need a practical nursing diploma, state licensure, and a solid understanding of basic patient care and clinical procedures. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficiency in using standard medical equipment are typically required. Strong communication, time management, and compassion help set individuals apart in this role. These skills and qualities are essential for ensuring patient safety, delivering effective care, and supporting healthcare teams in a part-time capacity.
