About the Position
We are seeking vigilant and dependable Security Officers and Security Guards to join our growing team in Grand Rapids, MI for dedicated overnight coverage. This rewarding role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities focused entirely on our late-night and 3rd shift operations. As an overnight operations security guard or officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, stable, and secure environment during the night for our staff, visitors, and property. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting regular foot patrols, monitoring live surveillance systems, enforcing facility access control measures, and responding promptly to onsite emergencies. Ideal candidates will possess strong observational skills, a proactive approach to nighttime safety, and the ability to remain calm and decisive as a professional security officer in challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Enforce facility rules and regulations consistently to maintain proper order on site.
โ€ข Provide excellent customer service as a visible security guard to clients, overnight visitors, and company staff.
โ€ข Enforce site rules and regulations while maintaining a highly professional demeanor in all conflict management situations.
โ€ข Collaborate closely with local law enforcement agencies during active investigations or overnight emergency situations.
โ€ข Document all operational incidents accurately in written reports for future reference and administrative review.
โ€ข Respond promptly, safely, and appropriately to sudden emergencies and disturbances.
Requirements

โ€ข Reliable personal transportation to get to the job site during overnight hours.
