STATUS: PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Guest Services Team Member provides the first point of contact for all guests. The Guest Services Team Member at the golf club will also serve as a Starter/Ranger, welcoming golfers to the first tee, reinforcing course policies, monitoring pace of play, and helping ensure a safe enjoyable experience for all players. The Guest Services Team Member is expected to provide excellent customer service to all visitors and always displays a vast amount of knowledge of the facility's programs and offerings.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Greet members and guests and provide information and way finding as needed
  • Assist with selling membership packages, course, and equipment rentals
  • Provide courteous and friendly first-in-class service to all members and guests
  • Be knowledgeable for guests on various matters such as transport, restaurant advice, etc.
  • Be knowledgeable about facility programs (format, pricing, meeting dates/times)
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with guest and Team Member information
  • Professionally resolve guest concerns and complaints and/or direct to appropriate manager
  • Know and enforce the venue policies and procedures
  • Manage the inventory of the office supplies and reorder items as needed
  • Monitor and assist in maintaining course conditions and equipment, reporting safety concerns to the Golf Operations leadership
  • Assist the Golf Operations leadership with venue preparation for events and tournaments
  • Assist the Golf Operations leadership during major events with check-in, signage, and other tasks
  • Assist and transport guests as needed around the facility during events
  • Become proficient with membership and facility scheduling software platforms
  • Complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Possess a valid Driver's License
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, long hours) and regular attendance necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient computer skills with basic software platforms
  • Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent guest service skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
  • Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team Members
  • Must work well with others
  • Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and venue
  • Commitment to the safety and well-being of others

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds waist high
