Job description

The DuPont Country Club, nestled within the rolling hills of the historic Brandywine Valley, is one of the premier venues to promote leisure activities through championship caliber golf courses, state of the art tennis facilities, pools and an updated fitness center. Elegantly decorated rooms, magnificent natural surroundings, customized event planning and impeccable service make any event at the DuPont Country Club truly a special occasion.
The DuPont Country Club is currently looking for a Line Cook to join our team and focus on providing the highest quality of service for our membership in our 1920 Restaurant. This individual will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. The Cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. This position will be required to move around the kitchen and multi-task. The Cook will use various ingredients and cooking techniques.
Pay Range for this position is $16-$18 per hour dependent on experience.
The successful candidate will have/be:
  • 1-3 years of cooking experience in high volume restaurant is required
  • Experience with chef’s knives and peelers required
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Must have availability to work morning or evening shifts and on weekends
  • Must have reliable transportation, public transportation is not available to our location
