Job Description Summary

Ensure that the member and guest golf experience exceeds expectations. Work collectively with the Player Services Team to perform various essential functions necessary to keep the club, facility and equipment at its very best. Employees are expected to maintain a neat and professional appearance that reflects the standards of our organization. Specific guidelines will be provided upon hire.
Weekday-evening shifts and weekend shifts available.

Job Description

Essential Functions
Ensure that the member and guest golfing experience is consistently remarkable and efficient.
Responsible for golf cart preparation, which includes charging the carts and stocking with two towels, scorecards, pin placement sheets, pencil and ice.
Maintain the cleanliness of all golf carts.
Line up all carts in an orderly and presentable fashion.
Keep all practice ranges properly picked, and ensure that all practice greens, fairways and short-range areas are clean and free of practice balls.
Ensure that each practice station has a full den caddy of practice balls for members, along with 20 tees for use.
Greet all members and guests upon their arrival by placing their clubs in a cart and giving them a ride to their designated location, if requested.
Regularly communicate with the Pro Shop to keep them informed on which members arrive in the parking lot.
Clean the clubs that members practice with before their round of golf.
Regularly check the tee sheet to ensure accuracy.
Make sure that each group arrives at their first tee at least five (5) minutes before their tee time so there is no course delay.
Greet all members and guests upon returning to the clubhouse and clean their clubs.
Ensure there is fresh water, cups and trash bags at designated locations on the course.
Keep the parking lot clean and organized.
Assist in the Pro Shop as needed.
Provide the utmost amount of customer service as a whole operation.
Maintain a professional image and promote the club within the community.
Represent Loch Lloyd Country Club in a professional manner at all times.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Skills and Experience
High School education.
Previous experience working in a country club setting preferred.
Driver's License required.
Knowledge of the game of golf.
Familiar with emergency education and protocol.
Knowledge of golf cart maintenance and preparation.
Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Calendar.

Able to use tools or controls.
Frequent stooping, bending, pulling and pushing.

Required to talk and hear consistently.
Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or drag up to 75 pounds if necessary.
Specific vision abilities required by the role include the ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye.
Role will be performed in various outdoor weather conditions, including frequent exposure to the sun and heat.
Will be working near moving mechanical parts.
Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
