Job description

We are seeking a part time Golf Course Food And Beverage Attendant to join our team at Hawks Creek Golf Course! You will be responsible for providing customers with excellent service. The ideal candidate is one who is able to operate described equipment; be self-motivated, observant, with good verbal communication skills.

The duties and responsibilities listed below are not meant to cover every job requirement and may be changed from time to time. The responsibilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to satisfactory meet position requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of fast order grill food
  • Restocking of inventory
  • Opening and closing of facilities
  • Receiving payment for food and beverages
  • Operation of point of sale devices
  • Maintaining cleanliness of food & beverage areas, including restrooms
  • Operation of motorized beverage cart using proper golf etiquette
  • Adherence to all safety and sanitation regulations

  • Must be eligible for TABC certification and Tarrant County food handler’s certificate
  • Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Texas driver license, or be willing and able to obtain a Texas driver license prior to start of employment
  • Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screen
  • Must be willing to do work varied shifts as scheduled, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must not have been convicted of, pleaded guilty to, entered a plea of nolo contendere to, or received judicial diversion for any felony charges or to any violation of any federal or state laws or city ordinances relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling or controlled substances

Physical and Environmental Conditions:

Duties are generally performed at the Golf Course primarily outdoors. The physical demands and work environment is representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the principle duties and responsibilities of this position or which the employee will encounter. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, jump, climb, push, pull, reach, kneel and bend. The employee must have normal vision, hearing and understandable articulation. The employee must be able to lift and/or move 25 pound objects, and on occasion be able to drag 50 pound objects. Company Description

Hawks Creek Golf Club is owned and operated by the City of Westworth Village. This Club is the former Carswell Air Force Base Golf Course. It is an 18-hole championship golf course, renovated in 2000 and reopened in 2002. It plays 6847 from back tees and requires control of tee shots for strategic play. There is full driving range and short game area with practice green to allow 75 yard shots. Westworth Village is located on western edge of Fort Worth, across from Shady Oaks Country Club.
