About Us:
Were a rapidly growing, allergy-friendly, gluten-free bakery looking for a mechanically inclined team member to operate and maintain our wrapping/bagging machine. This role is key in keeping our production line running smoothly and efficiently.
What Youll Do:
As a Packaging Machine Operator, youll take ownership of our wrapping equipment, ensuring products are packaged safely, consistently, and on time. Daily tasks include:
  • Setting up and changing over the machine for different products, packaging, and films
  • Loading rolls of wrap/film as needed
  • Troubleshooting and fixing issues to minimize downtime
  • Monitoring labels, lot codes, and best-by dates for accuracy using the Packaging Checklist
  • Labeling and boxing finished product in the correct configurations
  • Breaking down and cleaning machine parts between flavor changes
  • Performing routine cleaning: blowing off crumbs, sweeping, sanitizing work areas, and washing equipment/floors
What Were Looking For:

  • Mechanical aptitudeexperience with machinery, troubleshooting, or basic repairs preferred
  • Strong attention to detail for labeling, coding, and packaging accuracy
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to cross-train and support the team as needed
Schedule:

  • Afternoon/Evening shift. Shift can be discussed. Mon-Fri
