Weekend Machinist / Machine Operator -ย Part-Time | Fridayโ€“Sunday | $18โ€“$30 per hour

A growing manufacturing company is adding weekend production hours to meet increased customer demand. We are seeking dependable Machine Operators and Machinists for a part-time weekend shift.

This opportunity is open to a range of experience levels. Candidates with basic machining knowledge can gain valuable hands-on experience, while skilled machinists can pick up additional weekend hours performing setups and producing precision parts.

Preferred schedule:

  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Approximately 24 hours per week

The company may be flexible with days and hours for candidates who have relevant machining experience. Experienced machinists who are primarily interested in Saturday and Sunday hours are encouraged to apply.

Pay:ย $18โ€“$30 per hour, depending on experience and machining capabilitiesย 

Responsibilities

Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:

  • Operate CNC or other production machinery to manufacture precision parts
  • Load and unload parts, materials and tooling
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings and work instructions
  • Use calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools
  • Inspect completed parts to verify dimensions and quality requirements
  • Make basic machine adjustments and tool changes
  • Monitor machines and identify potential quality or equipment issues
  • Record production and inspection information
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
  • Follow established quality, safety and production procedures
  • Perform machine setups, offsets and first-piece inspections if qualified

Experience Levels
