Description
GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK
Under General supervision, supports the Engineering team and GIS Division by providing technical assistance and
assisting with GIS data collection. Utilizes geospatial technology (e.g., ESRI software on a field tablet) to accurately
log GPS coordinates and capture photographic documentation. Inputs, maintains, and integrates field data and other
information into the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) geodatabase. Generates maps, figures, and
supporting documentation (e.g., tables, summaries) from the collected GIS data. Analyzes the collected data to
highlight and map areas with high-severity issues, helping prioritize future stream restoration, maintenance, and
stormwater management activities based on field data.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Perform in field data collection
2. Perform data correction, analysis, and system updates.
3. Assist with preparation of Maps, reports, data layers, manuals, and other administrative tasks.
4. Participate in project meetings, taking notes and tracking action items.
5. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding project updates.

? Ability to use ESRI's ArcGIS Pro, Survey123, ArcGIS Online, Dashboards, and Experience Builder.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma with additional college coursework in Geographic Information Systems or a related field, or any
combination of education, training, and experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform
essential job functions.
