Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all money on assigned table during a live game. Knowledge of other carnival games, Black Jack a must
  • Play house hands from behind a gaming table and deal appropriate number of cards out to players, while providing outstanding customer service
  • Compare players' hands with the house and determine winner
  • Exchange money for chips to be used in games
  • Conduct other gambling games such as dice, roulette, cards, or keno.
  • Inspect cards and gaming equipment to ensure compliance with gaming standards
  • Compute players' winnings and losses
  • Answer questions about game rules and variations
  • Confidentially notify manager of any suspicious or unusual activity and/or transactions in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve disputes or arguments by conferring with Pit Supervisor
  • Entice players to sit at table and play
  • Prepare collection reports for submission to supervisors
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    Standing, Hearing, Bending/Stooping, Observing, Turning. Forceful and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
