Job description

Job Summary

Are you a motivated, results-driven sales professional who thrives in face-to-face environments and enjoys the energy of live events? We are seeking a Trade Show Sales Professional (TSSP) to represent our brand at trade shows, expos, and customer-facing events. This is a part-time, commission-only role offering uncapped earning potential and flexible, event-based scheduling. You will serve as the face of the company—engaging attendees, building relationships, showcasing products, and closing sales on the spot. This opportunity is ideal for high-energy individuals who are competitive, self-motivated, and eager to take control of their income through performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company professionally at trade shows, events, and exhibitions
  • Actively engage event attendees, initiate conversations, and qualify potential customers
  • Conduct product demonstrations and clearly communicate features, benefits, and value proposition
  • Drive the full sales process on the event floor, including handling objections and closing sales
  • Build rapport with customers and generate repeat business and referrals
  • Capture leads and maintain accurate customer information
  • Identify and submit new event opportunities within your assigned region
  • Follow company sales processes, compliance standards, and event expectations
  • Communicate regularly with leadership regarding performance, insights, and opportunities
  • Work independently to manage your schedule, region, and sales pipeline

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven or demonstrated ability in B2C or direct sales (event or one-conversation close experience preferred)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to engage and build trust with a wide range of customers
  • Self-motivated with a competitive, results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable using basic software and learning new systems
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Part-time, event-based role
  • Primarily weekends and travel to local or regional events required
  • Ability to attend multiple events per month; minimum of 12 annually preferred
  • Reliable transportation required

Compensation

  • 100% commission-based structure
  • Unlimited earning potential based on performance, effort, and results
  • Higher earnings achieved through consistent event participation, strong closing ability, and customer follow-up

Ideal Candidate

  • A go-getter who is motivated by performance-based income
  • Confident initiating conversations and asking for the sale
  • Competitive, driven, and accountable for results
  • Comfortable working high-energy events and engaging with large groups
  • Proactive in generating opportunities rather than waiting for them
  • Passionate about building relationships and turning interactions into sales
  • Industry knowledge (e.g., outdoor, hunting, firearms) is a plus but not required

What Makes This Role Unique

This is not a traditional hourly sales position. Your success is directly tied to your initiative, effort, and ability to convert conversations into sales. If you are someone who thrives on independence, competition, and unlimited earning potential, this role offers the opportunity to build a strong income and grow within a dynamic sales environment.
