Overview

In this position you are a member of the Changeover Crew. Duties required converting the facility from hockey mode to concert or basketball/soccer and back. Any event-oriented preparation/setup required for shows or sporting events to run safely and efficiently and other duties as assigned.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 - $20.00.

This position will remain open until November 27, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for working as part of a team to convert and prepare the arena for events.
  • Installing/removing ice covering, staging, risers, and basketball courts.
  • Handle folding chairs, stacking chairs, tables of various shapes and sizes, drapery, and skirting.
  • Assist, when necessary, with pre/post-event cleaning, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, and carpet cleaning.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with other departments, clients, and patrons encountered in the course of employment. 
  • Work effectively under pressure and stringent schedules to produce accurate results.  
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Related experience desired but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects often.
  • Knowledge of staging and production equipment is desired.
  • Available to work flexible hours preferred, including daytime, evenings, and overnights (mostly overnights).
  • Must be comfortable wearing safety footwear.
