Assistant Residential Managers at Arc GLOW work under the direction of the Residential Manager. They are responsible assisting with the supervision of staff, scheduling, and providing quality services to the people supported. They provide oversight and support to those that live in the home and the employees who work there by supporting and promoting a positive atmosphere. Starting pay is $21.50/hr.
Shift Differentials:
Weekends: $2/hour
Overnights: $3/hour
Evenings: $.50/hour

WHAT IS ARC GLOW?

WHAT WOULD I BE DOING?
  • Assist in the completion of accurate paperwork to maintain compliance with OPWDD requirements and agency policy and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation of services provided.
  • Provide supervision to Direct Support Professionals in conjunction with the Residential Manager.
  • Promote cooperation and successful interactions by maintaining open and positive communication with people receiving services, family members, and other service providers.
  • Use various software platforms for specific job functions.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
  • A valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record, per agency policy, and reliable transportation to and from work is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The physical ability to transfer and lift people with mobility restraints.
  • The drive to help others with personal goals and work in a team environment.
  • The ability to efficiently use a computer.
  • Previous supervisory experience
