About the Role:
Dr. Marc Allen Medical PC is looking for a friendly and organized Part Time Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Northport, NY. This is a great opportunity to join a patient-focused medical office where your professionalism and warmth will make a real difference every day.  No experience necessary, good job for Pre-PA, Pre-Med students. 
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer incoming phone calls, route calls, and take messages accurately
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays at time of visit
  • Maintain and update patient records in the EMR/EHR system
  • Manage front desk administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and correspondence
  • Ensure the waiting area is tidy and welcoming at all times
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a medical front desk or healthcare administrative role preferred
  • Familiarity with medical scheduling software and EMR/EHR systems a plus
