About This RoleCB Construction is a North Seattle design-build remodeler. For nearly two decades, we've been the contractor homeowners in Ballard, Ravenna, Greenwood, Wallingford, and surrounding neighborhoods turn to for whole-home remodels, additions, kitchens, baths, and basement ADUs.More than half of our clients are repeat customers. Most of the rest come through referrals. That's a strong foundation-and it's also the reason we're hiring.We want to grow deliberately. Not by chasing every lead, but by reaching more of the right homeowners and the right projects. To do that, we need someone who can own sales and marketing as a discipline, not a side task.Engagement Structure (Read This First)This is a fractional engagement.Part-timeOngoingContract-basedScoped around outcomes, not hoursIt is Part time W-2 role, and it is not a one-off project.Position Overview You will report directly to the founding principal, Carl, and operate as our outsourced sales and marketing leader.Your responsibility is to own outcomes-not just activity.We've already invested in marketing coordination and lead generation support. Your role is to bring direction, structure, and accountability to those efforts, ensuring they produce real opportunities and revenue.You will lead and direct the Marketing Coordinator / Lead Gen VA, aligning day-to-day execution with a clear strategy and measurable results.What Success Looks LikeWithin the first 3-6 months:A clear, actively managed pipeline of qualified remodeling opportunitiesLead generation is consistent, measurable, and improvingThe Marketing Coordinator / VA is focused, accountable, and producingReferral channels (architects, designers, past clients) are actively generating workMessaging reflects the quality of the work and attracts the right homeownersA defined, repeatable sales process exists from inquiry to signed contractLonger term:Sales becomes predictable and intentional, not referral-dependentMarketing efforts are focused and tied to revenue, not just activityThe company consistently attracts the right projects-not just more projectsThe system runs with structure and accountability, not constant owner involvementWhat You'd OwnYou'd operate across five core areas:Sales Pipeline DevelopmentBuild and manage a clear, trackable pipeline of qualified opportunitiesDefine what a "good project" looks like and filter accordinglyImplement simple systems for tracking leads, follow-ups, and conversionLead Generation Strategy & OversightSet the strategy for inbound and outbound lead generationDirect the Marketing Coordinator on daily and weekly prioritiesEnsure consistent execution and measurable outputMarketing Execution (Through Others)Oversee website, content, and digital presenceGuide messaging and campaigns to ensure alignment with business goalsReview and refine output rather than doing everything yourselfBrand PositioningSharpen how CB Construction NW is perceived in the marketAlign messaging with the type of projects and clients we want more ofEnsure consistency across all outward-facing touchpointsSales Process & SupportImprove how leads are qualified, nurtured, and closedSupport proposal strategy, pricing positioning, and client communicationBring structure to what is currently informalWhat We're Looking For5+ years of proven experience in sales and marketing within construction, trades, or B2B servicesExperience leading or directing junior marketing/lead gen supportSomeone who has built pipelines, not just talked about themStrong understanding of relationship-driven sellingAbility to operate at both strategy and execution levelComfortable working directly with an owner and a small, growing teamClear communicator who creates focus and accountabilityThis is not for someone who needs a large team or heavy infrastructure.
