What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; verify credentials as directed by site policies; and document visitor, contractor, and incident information accurately.
  • Maintain awareness of changing conditions throughout the location and communicate observations, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
