We offer geographically desirable positions, flexibility, and autonomy, allowing you to tailor your therapy approach to each child's unique needs and create a rewarding work-life balance. We have a position for passionate, dedicated, energetic Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants with a strong background in pediatric occupational therapy to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year and continuing for future years. Occupational Therapist - Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with school staff and Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities (not applicable to Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant)
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, addressing areas such as sensory integration, fine motor skills, visual-motor coordination, and self-care
  • Adapt classroom environments, materials, and equipment to promote accessibility and facilitate student participation
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals involved in the students’ care
  • Document student progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information according to agency and school guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate goals and accommodations for students
  • Stay up to date on current research, evidence based practices, and relevant policies in school-based occupational therapy
License/Certification:
  • State of Nevada OT License (Required)
  • Nevada Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
  • Pediatric experience preferred (fieldwork experience is acceptable)
