Description
The Benson Students Coordinator oversees the Student Ministry at Benson, implementing the vision, curriculum, and strategies set by the Pantano Student Pastor.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Execute the vision, curriculum, and programming in alignment with Pantano Student Ministry.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee Difference Makers (volunteers) to ensure a safe and engaging experience for students.
  • Implement security protocols and child protection policies to maintain a safe environment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for families at the campus, fostering relationships and equipping parents to support faith development at home.
  • Ensure smooth operations for all Student Ministry services and programs and special events, as needed.
  • Collaborate with church leadership and other ministry teams to foster integration and church-wide engagement.
  • Manage and utilize the Planning Center Check-In module for Student Services and events for the campus.
  • Provide feedback and communicate campus-specific needs for Student Ministry operations.
  • Serve as a connection and liaison for schools in the local area.

Other Duties
  • Attend weekly 1:1, team and staff meetings as requested
  • Adhere to all church policies and procedures as well as ensure that volunteers comply with guidelines for ministry
  • Work assigned duties during "All Hands On Deck" events such as Christmas and Easter services
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Active Difference Maker Pantano Christian Church
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Office-related computer skills, including experience with common office software/programs and online applications
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Ability to effectively utilize online communication, email and calendar tools
  • Experience with Mac and macOS a plus
  • Experience with Google Drive a plus
  • Experience with database software a plus
  • Ability to work productively without direct supervision
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with team members, volunteers and other staff

Salary Description
$17.50-$19.00 per hour
