Job description

A Life Home Health Care is seeking a highly experienced and dependable On-Call Caregiver to provide compassionate, hands-on care for a client requiring full body assistance. This position requires a caregiver with strong knowledge, expertise, and prior experience working with disabled patients who require total care. The ideal candidate must be confident, patient, and skilled in handling advanced caregiving tasks. This position starts immediately.
Job Title: On-Call Caregiver (Experienced) – Immediate Start

Location: Patient is in Bellevue
Pay: Starting at $17/hour (negotiable based on experience) SEMI-MONTHLY 
Schedule: On-Call / As Needed
Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-body personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living
  • Safely operate and assist with Hoyer lift transfers

  • Assist with bed pan use and personal hygiene care

  • Provide repositioning and mobility assistance to prevent discomfort or pressure sores
  • Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for the client
  • Communicate effectively with family members and care coordinators
  • Provide compassionate companionship while maintaining professionalism
Requirements:

  • Previous caregiving experience required

  • Experience using a Hoyer lift is required

  • Experience assisting with bed pans and full body care

  • Experience caring for disabled or high-needs patients

  • Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility support
  • Reliable, compassionate, and attentive to detail
  • Ability to respond to on-call scheduling needs

  • Must be dependable and professional
Preferred Qualifications:

  • CNA or prior home health care experience
  • Experience with long-term or complex care patients
