As a Production Technician - Part Time set hour options within core first shift (7am-3:30pm) hours, 32 hours per week, you will perform a variety of routine production duties while adhering to Caterpillar's core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, commitment, and sustainability. Production Technicians work within and across zones on the production floor in the areas of assembly, fabrication, paint or other production areas, ensuring safety, quality and standard work protocol are followed. Technicians use basic tools to accurately assemble both purchased and manufactured parts into finished product, operates machinery, performs applications for blasting and painting, and uses welding equipment to perform basic tack and straight-line welds. We offer competitive pay rate of $16.45 per hour. Opportunity to be eligible for full time in a short time!
As a Production Technician you will be required to follow day to day expectations:

• Perform all work in a manner that meets quality standards and safe job procedures
• Perform all work in accordance with standard operating procedures and follows standard work to accomplish tasks
• Perform tasks wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: bump cap, hearing protection, safety glasses and safety shoes
• Perform regular checks to ensure product meets quality standards
• Engage supervisor to resolve problems and issues as they occur
• Meet daily production level goals
• Perform all necessary documentation in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Adhere to our core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, commitment and sustainability

Successful candidate must bring (Basic Qualifications):

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule where attendance and punctuality are required
• Ability to safely perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, performing repetitive work
• Ability to produce quality work at a sustained pace
• Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment and work effectively with people regardless of age, gender, race, religion or job type
• Demonstrates ability to follow directions and standard work

3-6 months of manufacturing and/or related work experience

Shift: 1st Shift - PART TIME (within the core Hours: 7a.m. - 3:30 p.m)
Compensation: $16.45 per hour, + quarterly Goal Sharing Bonus

Schedule Detail AND Hours:
Hours: This is a part time position. An average of 32 hours a week maximum can be worked. Scheduled hours would be pre-approved and would fall between the hours of Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM. Change in schedule may be required with advance notice. Additionally, current schedule offerings are subject to change with advance notice.

Summary Pay Range:
$16.43 - $21.37
