Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Float

Status: Full-Time and Part-Time
Shifts: Combination of 8hour and 12hour shifts
Hours: 72/48 hours per pay period (up to 60 hours available)

Shift Options Include:

  • Day: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

  • Mid: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

  • Night: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

  • Late Night: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Weekends: Weekend and noweekend options available
Holidays: Scheduled in accordance with the CBA

What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will:

  • Deliver holistic, patient-centered care by assessing health data, creating individualized care plans, and evaluating outcomes.

  • Collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, personalized care.

  • Support all aspects of the patient experience, making a meaningful impact on every patient's journey.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

  • Current Michigan RN license.

  • 1 year experience in a Med Surg area preferred.

  • BLS certifications required.

Continuing Employment Requirements

  • Familiarity with hospital and department policies and procedures, including accepted methods for requisitioning ancillary services and working with medical staff.
    (Typically acquired during 1-3 months of orientation.)

  • Maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required CEUs for licensure.

  • Demonstrate and articulate commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of Trinity Health Muskegon.
