What You'll Do
As a Valet & Shuttle Attendant, you'll serve as a key representative of LAZ Commercial by providing professional valet parking and shuttle transportation services while delivering outstanding customer experiences. You'll help ensure safe operations, efficient transportation, and exceptional service for every customer and passenger.
Customer Service
Greet customers and passengers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
Create positive first and last impressions for all guests.
Assist customers entering and exiting vehicles and shuttle transportation.
Help customers with luggage, packages, and personal belongings as needed.
Provide directions and general property information.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions and concerns.
Communicate delays, route changes, and operational updates as necessary.
Maintain a positive and service-focused attitude throughout each shift.
Valet Operations
Safely park and retrieve customer vehicles in accordance with company procedures.
Issue valet tickets and explain vehicle retrieval procedures.
Secure and manage vehicle keys according to established protocols.
Direct traffic and maintain safe and efficient vehicle flow.
Safeguard customer vehicles and property while in company care.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe valet and parking areas.
Support teammates during peak arrival and departure periods.
Shuttle Operations
Safely operate company shuttle vehicles along designated routes.
Transport passengers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
Assist passengers with boarding and exiting shuttle vehicles.
Help load and unload luggage and personal belongings.
Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Accurately complete inspection reports, passenger logs, and other required documentation.
Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, accidents, or operational incidents promptly.
Maintain clean, organized, and passenger-ready shuttle vehicles.
Communicate route issues, delays, and passenger concerns to management.
Teamwork & Operational Support
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Follow all company safety, transportation, valet, and operational procedures.
Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and leadership.
Remain calm and professional in busy environments.
Assist team members as operational needs require.
Represent LAZ Commercial with professionalism, integrity, and pride.

Qualifications
Required
Valid driver's license.
Driving record that meets company standards.
Minimum of two years of licensed driving experience.
Ability to meet all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain required DOT medical certifications or documentation.
Ability to safely operate company shuttle vehicles.
Ability to successfully complete required background checks, drug screenings, driving record reviews, and medical clearances, where applicable.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to work assigned schedules and maintain reliable attendance.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred
Previous valet parking experience.
Shuttle driving or passenger transportation experience.
Parking, hospitality, transportation, or customer service experience.
Experience operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
High school diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to:
Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, snow, and wind.
Sit and drive for extended periods.
Stand, walk, and occasionally run throughout the workday.
Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Bend, stoop, squat, reach, and move frequently during a shift.
Safely enter and exit a variety of vehicles.
Assist passengers with luggage and personal belongings.
Conduct vehicle inspections and related operational tasks.
