These positions are often found in schools, sports events, workplaces, community centers, and public gatherings where first responders are needed but not on a full-time basis. Responsibilities typically include assessing injuries, performing CPR, treating minor wounds, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Part-time first aid workers may be employed by organizations or work on a contract basis, and they are usually required to hold valid first aid and CPR certifications.

Depending on the setting—such as schools, recreational facilities, or events—you'll often collaborate with security personnel, supervisors, or event organizers to ensure a safe environment.
