Are you mechanically inclined, enjoy solving problems with your hands, and looking for a part-time role that offers training, growth, and the chance to work with a respected name in Hawaii's garage door and gate industry? Join Raynor Overhead Doors and Gates as we expand our commercial technician team in Pearl City.
What You'll Do:
As a Commercial Garage Door Technician, you'll help install, repair, and service a wide range of commercial and industrial garage door systems, including sectional doors, rolling steel doors, fire doors, gates, and more. Whether it's troubleshooting or performing preventative maintenance, you'll bring safety and reliability to every project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial doors and gate systems
  • Perform site inspections to ensure safety and quality compliance
  • Document work with clear notes, diagrams, and photos
  • Communicate with customers and teammates in a professional manner
  • Prioritize safety and follow OSHA and company protocols
  • Use mobile tools and software to log work (training provided)
• What We're Looking For:
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs, use ladders, and work in a physically active environment
  • Willingness to learn and complete hands-on training
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
  • Previous garage door experience a plus, but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Training Commitment:
Must be available for at least 8 weekdays of training within the first two weeks of employment. We'll teach you everything you need to know - and invest in your growth from day one.
Pay & Growth:
  • Starting Pay: $22-$26/hour for entry-level helpers
  • Compensation Growth: Increases tied to time worked, training completion, and certifications
  • Fully Trained Techs: Expected pay range of $28-$32/hour, including some prevailing wage work
  • Compensation details will be discussed further in the interview process
Schedule:
  • Part-Time
  • Monday to Friday
  • Evenings and weekends as needed
