As a Financial Advisor, you'll leverage your expertise to understand clients' unique needs and provide personalized advice and solutions that support their financial, physical, and mental well-being. You'll play a key role in growing and protecting the Continuum Financial Centre's client portfolio, delivering exceptional service, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring every interaction meets the highest compliance and professional standards.ย 

What you will do

  • Proactively contact clients and answer inbound inquiries.
  • Provide advice and account / policy maintenance services using appropriate planning processes.
  • Maintain a compliant practice.
  • Improve client engagement in pursuit of the centres overall business development objectives.
  • Promote client portals & e-delivery options for statements, confirmations & marketing communications.
  • Provide input to inform continuous refinement of the business model.
  • Keep marketing and business development plans current and up to date.
  • Gather and analyze customer insights, adjust program objectives and delivery as required according to new unmet customer needs.
  • Educate customers about products, solutions and services with various carrier partnersย

What you will bringย ย 

  • Valid LLQP (Life Insurance License)
  • A Criminal Record and Credit background check is mandatory as a condition of employment.ย ย 
  • Experience in the financial insurance industry, Canadian banking, insurance, and / or financial advice channels with a specific emphasis on investment fund products and services.ย 
  • Background working with an MGA environment, dealer, or independent advisory practice with access to multiple insurance carriers is considered a significant asset.
  • Strong insurance planning and advisory experience with a proven ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate protection and wealth planning solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of life insurance, living benefits, and segregated funds
  • Experience navigating multi-carrier product shelves and leveraging carrier specific strengths to deliver tailored client solutions.
  • Effective in establishing business relationship with carrier partners, wholesalers, and support teams.
  • Strong insurance planning and advisory experience with a proven ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate protection and wealth planning solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, French would be considered an asset.
  • Well-developed presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to think innovatively and quickly to adapt to the needs of the client
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Office productsย

The base salary for this position is between $59,800 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
