Primary Purpose of Position
The Department of Accounting and Finance invites applications for Part-Time Instructors. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach accounting courses.
The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses by the Department of Accounting and Finance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teach face-to-face and/or online courses, attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to, academic advising of students, supporting student organizations, participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Department of Accounting and Finance provides a high-quality accounting and finance education that integrates technical skills with the development of personal attributes necessary for the continued growth and success of our graduates. We help our students build competence in technical accounting knowledge, communication, and critical thinking, as well as analytical, interpersonal, and technological skills. We offer competitive academic scholarships to assist students desiring to enter the program.
The Department of Accounting and Finance offers two undergraduate degrees, the Bachelor of Science in Accounting and the Bachelor of Science in Finance. These degrees have led to professional certification and career success for many aspiring accounting and finance professionals.

Candidates must have a Master's degree in Finance or a related field.

Candidates should have at least 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level, and 2-3 years of industry experience.
