We're a place where kids and families come to play, explore, and discover together. Through hands-on exhibits, workshops, performances, and sensory friendly programming, we support how children naturally grow socially, emotionally, creatively, and academically while partnering with parents, caregivers, and educators to extend learning into everyday life.

Position Summary

The Museum Educator supports the Museum's mission by creating engaging, inclusive, and meaningful learning experiences for children and families. This position facilitates Arts and STEAM activities, supports museum programs and exhibits, assists with program operations, and helps create a welcoming environment for children, caregivers, educators, and community partners. Preferred:

  • Three or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Arts, STEAM, museum education, informal learning, or community-based education.
  • Experience facilitating hands-on educational activities or group programs.
  • Experience supporting neurodivergent children and/or creating inclusive, sensory-responsive learning experiences.
  • Associate degree or coursework in education, arts, science, child development, museum education, or a related field.

  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills, particularly Spanish/English.
Schedule & Work Environment
  • This is a part-time position with hours varying according to program schedules and operational needs.
  • Saturday availability is required, as weekend programming is a core part of the Museum's operations.
  • Work hours generally align with the Museum's regular public operating hours.
