Position Type: Part-time (24 hours/week) and the ability to be on call to support our residents for emergencies

As our Maintenance Technician, you will provide high quality service to our residents, joining a team of outstanding team members with a commitment to excellence. You will hold yourself to a high set of standards, demonstrate a positive, service-minded demeanor, and successfully manage multiple shifting priorities. You will be responsible for the routine maintenance of the physical integrity of the community, including daily pickup of grounds, ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will be our go-to person to ensure our residents are taken care of in the event of an emergency.


**We are embracing technology in how we serve our communities. Our HVAC Technicians receive work orders on our Maintenance Mobile app. You will be provided a stipend for your use of your personal smartphone to stay connected with us and process through your work orders.**


Summary of responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all current and future residents
  • Complete resident work orders on a timely basis (24 to 48-hour expectation)
  • Broad knowledge of general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Assist with court-ordered “set-outs” when necessary
  • Perform unit turnover between residents per company standards (3-5 days)
  • Maintain grounds and curb appeal
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Be responsive to on-call emergencies
