Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PT Part Time Aide to join our healthcare team in Columbia, United States. As a PT Part Time Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting our physical therapists and assisting patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

  • Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
  • Help patients with exercises, mobility, and therapeutic activities
  • Prepare treatment areas and set up equipment for therapy sessions
  • Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of therapy equipment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Basic knowledge of physical therapy practices and procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina and ability to assist patients with mobility
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Prior experience in healthcare or physical therapy settings preferred
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the field of physical therapy
